I’m a UT Graduate and native Knoxvillian. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, I’m more than equipped to chat about your brand, strategize about your business goals and work until you (and me) are satisfied with what I produce. So let’s get started!

Digital Sales Associate for Journal Broadcast Group Knoxville / The E.W. Scripps Company (merged on 4/1/15)

I oversee the entire digital department for Journal Broadcast Group’s Knoxville market. That consists of managing content posted to 5 websites (,,, & and their respect Facebook + Twitter pages along our Radio League app that houses our station’s streams. I design all graphics for websites, social media, station ads, station t-shirts and other marketing materials. I also manage all digital revenue and inventory of our digital products from banner ads, to streaming to app sponsorships. By accompanying account executives on sales calls, I’m able to interact with clients to ensure we’re helping them meet their goals and delivering on what we promised. I input all digital campaigns and produce affidavits to show completion. With a budget that is always on the rise, I’ve managed to exceed my yearly goals in my first year on the job and plan to continue growing revenue at the same pace.

I wrote and produced stories for the entertainment sites from their launch in early August of 2013. I found stories, created click-worthy galleries and helped set up and manage both site’s Facebook, Twitter and Google+ channels. All stories were posted on TV & radio station websites across the United States in 14 markets. Stories were chosen based the content’s ability to drive traffic and be of interest to our on-air personalities. From Award shows, to funny YouTube videos to coverage of school shootings, the stories were always timely, professional and were written to appeal to the masses.

Managed WWST, WKHT, WCYQ & WNOX’s online presence including but not limited to websites, social media, weekly newsletters, texting campaigns, banner ad creation and implementation, and designing graphics. Worked under tight deadlines to complete tasks in a fast paced environment. Juggled and prioritized multiple projects on a daily basis. Communicated with programming, sales and promotions to bridge the gap between traditional and digital. Coordinated with numerous departments to make projects work, and often managed tech’s social media and photography while at events. Primary writer for all text on the sites about events and promotions. Researched and experimented daily with Social Media including types of posts to make, and what is more likely to go viral.
